OutSource Annual CSR Day: Crafting a Blueprint for Innovative Work Experience Programs

On July 3, 2024, we held our annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day at the prestigious RSA House, which was a remarkable success. Sponsored by Nétive VMS, the all-day event gathered top minds in the outsourcing sector to forge a comprehensive and impactful work experience program for young people.

Tina Hook, from Nétive VMS, explained why the day was so important to Netive and aligned with their values and mission, setting the tone for a day filled with collaboration.

Danny Heath, CEO of YourGamePlan, presented the vital work his organisation undertakes. YourGamePlan collaborates with state schools nationwide, particularly in underprivileged areas where students often lack role models, mentors, and parental connections. Danny highlighted the significance of work experience in these communities, outlining how it can provide essential support for students as they transition to the next stages of their lives.

Following the opening presentations, members engaged in a breakout session, focused on the purpose of work experience, the barriers faced, and the reasons behind these challenges. A group discussion ensued, allowing attendees to delve deeper into the topics and brainstorm the next steps.

The afternoon session saw members channelling their collective expertise and energy into building a blueprint for effective work experience programs. Ideas flowed freely as groups collaborated, integrating diverse perspectives to create a robust and actionable plan.

The event ended with a feedback discussion at 3:30 p.m., where participants shared their insights and reflections on the day’s activities. This session helped to refine the blueprint and solidify commitments to ongoing support for YourGamePlan’s mission.
